Feb 21, 2008 - 1:10 PM Seattle (14-38) at Portland (28-25) 10:30 pm EST

PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) - The Portland Trail Blazers were once in the thick of the Western Conference playoff picture. Now, their just trying to win a game.

The Blazers try to snap a five-game losing streak when they host the Seattle SuperSonics on Thursday.

Portland put together a 13-game winning streak earlier this season to surge to the top of the Northwest Division standings. However, the Blazers have gone just 10-13 since completing the streak on December 30, falling to 10th place overall in the Western Conference.

The Blazers couldn't break out of their slide during their first game back after the All-Star break on Tuesday, suffering a 105-94 setback to the Sacramento Kings.

The SuperSonics ended a brief two-game slide on Tuesday as they rallied to claim a 108-101 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Earl Watson scored 26 points and added nine assists to lead Seattle.

Watson is averaging just nine points and seven assists this season but has dished out nine or more assists in three of his last four games while scoring at least 23 points in two of those contests.
