Jazz C Gobert sits out with knee injury

Nov 16, 2017 - 5:03 PM SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert missed Saturday's game against the Brooklyn Nets due to a right knee contusion.

Gobert was injured in the third quarter of Friday's 84-74 loss to the Miami Heat. He was injured while competing for a loose ball with Miami guard Dion Waiters.

Gobert briefly exited the game but returned and finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds in 35 minutes.

Derrick Favors moved from forward and started at center while Thabo Sefalosha started for Favors at forward.

Gobert is averaging 13.9 points, 10.5 rebounds and shooting 62.6 percent in 12 games this season.
