Bosh, Raptors face slumping Pacers

Feb 25, 2008 - 3:16 PM Toronto (30-24) at Indiana (22-34) 7:00 pm EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Toronto Raptors are right in the middle of the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Indiana Pacers are hoping to get into the same situation.

The Raptors hope to improve their postseason position Monday when they visit the slumping Pacers.

The reigning Atlantic Division champion, Toronto currently is fifth in the conference standings, one game behind the fourth-place Cleveland Cavaliers.

Toronto has won three of its last four games, including a 115-92 rout of the New York Knicks on Sunday. Andrea Bargnani scored 25 points and All-Star Chris Bosh added 17 for the Raptors, who avenged Friday's 103-99 loss at New York.

The Raptors have already beaten Indiana twice this season by an average of 10 points. The two teams conclude the four-game season series in Toronto on Friday. Bosh is averaging 22.0 points and 10.0 rebounds against the Pacers this season.

Indiana has been fading in the second half of the season, losing 11 of its last 14 games. The Pacers have dropped four of their last five games, including Saturday's 102-91 loss to the New Jersey Nets.

Indiana is 4-12 since losing Jermaine O'Neal to a knee injury. Jamaal Tinsley has been out for seven games, also with a knee injury.
