Streaking Rockets go for 13th straight win

HOUSTON (Ticker) - The red-hot Houston Rockets look to continue its winning ways when they host the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.

Houston is coming off a 110-97 victory over Chicago on Sunday for its 12th straight win, the team's longest winning streak since a 15-game run to start the 1993-94 season.

Tracy McGrady led seven players in double figures with 24 points and eight assists in the win, and the former All-Star is averaging 20.1 points and 7.0 assists during the winning streak.

The Wizards won for just the third time in 13 games on Monday, posting a thrilling 95-92 victory at New Orleans. The victory snapped a 10-game road losing streak at the Hornets.

DeShawn Stevenson scored a career-high 33 points in the win and drilled the game-winning 3-pointer as time expired.

The Rockets will be going for their third straight season sweep of the Wizards, and have won five straight home meetings in the series.
