Wade, Miami hopes to end 11-game slide

Feb 26, 2008 - 3:02 PM Sacramento (26-29) at Miami (9-44) 7:30 pm EST

MIAMI (Ticker) - The reeling Miami Heat struggle at home and the Sacramento Kings are equally as bad on the road. Something has to give.

The Heat will try to end their 11-game losing streak on Tuesday against the Kings, who own a dismal 9-19 record away from Arco Area.

Miami continued its disappointing season on Saturday by dropping a 101-96 decision to the Philadelphia 76ers to waste a 33-point effort by All-Star Dwyane Wade.

"Nobody in this locker room is going to quit," Wade said. "The ball is going to drop as it's going to drop and we have to accept that and move on."

The Heat have captured just one win since Christmas and are four losses away from tying a season high of 15 that was set from December 25 to January 24.

Ron Artest netted 23 points and Kevin Martin added 20 points and 10 rebounds but it wasn't enough to help Sacramento get past the Orlando Magic, 112-93, on Sunday.
