Cavaliers' new players make road debut vs. Bucks

Feb 26, 2008 - 3:03 PM Cleveland (32-24) at Milwaukee (21-35) 8:00 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) - The Cleveland Cavaliers' recent acquisitions have wasted no time finding a rhythm with their new teammates.

Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West take to the road for the first time with the Cavaliers when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

Cleveland's new four-some made an immediate impact during their debut on Sunday after being acquired in a massive three-team, 11-player trade on Thursday.

Wallace tied a season-high with 12 points while adding 10 rebounds, Szczerbiak and Smith scored in double figures and West - starting at point guard - had five points and six assists to lead the Cavaliers to a 109-89 drubbing of the Memphis Grizzlies.

All-Star game Most Valuable Player LeBron James was very happy with his teammate's performance.

"The energy was unbelievable and I know those guys fed off the energy," James said. "It was exciting to be out on the floor with them."

After losing seven of their previous eight games, the Bucks have won two of their last three contests, including a 115-109 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. Michael Redd scored a season-high 42 points to lead Milwaukee.

Redd is averaging a team-high 23.2 points per game but the Bucks are only 4-21 this season when he scores less then 25 points.
