Magic look to continue road success against Sixers

Feb 27, 2008 - 1:47 PM Orlando (37-22) at Philadelphia (25-32) 7:00 pm EST

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) - The Orlando Magic continue to enjoy success on the road.

The Magic conclude a short two-game trip on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Orlando improved to 21-11 away from home on Tuesday with a 102-92 victory over the New Jersey Nets.

The Magic are running away with the Southeast Division, with a nine game lead on second-place Washington.

While the Magic are virtually in the playoffs, the Sixers will likely be in a dogfight until the end of the season for one of the Eastern Conference's eight spots.

Orlando, which made no trades before the deadline passed last Thursday, has won three straight and five of its last six games.

The Magic have won the first two games of the four-game season series. The teams meet for the final time March 21 in Orlando.

Andre Miller is averaging 24 points and 8.5 assists against Orlando this year. Hedo Turkoglu is averaging 27 points, while Dwight Howard is averaging 20.5 points and 16 rebounds against Philadelphia.

The Sixers are 7-2 in their last nine games, including Saturday's 101-96 overtime victory at Miami. The Sixers hit the road for three games after Wednesday's contest. Philadelphia is 6-0 at home since losing to the Magic, 108-106, on February 1.
