NBA Note - Washington Wizards Wall, John
Dec 14, 2017 - 9:33 AM G John Wall returned to the lineup Wednesday against the visiting Memphis Grizzlies after missing nine games with a knee injury. The four-time All-Star received injections in his left knee on Nov. 25 to help against inflammation. Wall ramped up his basketball activities in recent days, including a full practice Monday. Wizards coach Scott Brooks said Wall could have played in Tuesday's loss at Brooklyn, but gave him an extra day of rest with Washington dealing with a back-to-back set. Wall started against Memphis, but is expected to receive minutes in the mid-20s, Brooks said. In 16 games entering Wednesday, Wall averaged 20.3 points and 9.2 assists. Washington (14-13) has dropped two in a row and finished 4-5 in the nine games without Wall.
