Wizards try to rebound from tough loss
Nov 8, 2006 - 3:15 PM Indiana (2-1) at Washington (1-2) 7:00 pm ESTWASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The Washington Wizards will be probably be in a foul mood when they host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
The Wizards dropped a tough 106-103 loss to the Orlando Magic on Monday. Washington had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer, but Gilbert Arenas, who only shot 6-of-20 from the field, back-rimmed a 3-point attempt.
Arenas finished with 24 points while Antawn Jamison led Washington with 29.
The Pacers should be feeling good about themselves after handing the Philadelphia 76ers their first defeat of the season on Tuesday, 97-86.
Jermaine O'Neal led the Pacers with 16 points and 11 rebounds while Rawle Marshall scored 16 points and added five boards.
The Pacers, who went 7-of-18 from 3-point range, held the Sixers to one basket in seven 3-point attempts.
