Raptors face Heat, await Bosh's return

Mar 5, 2008 - 2:12 PM Toronto (32-27) at Miami (11-46) 7:30 pm EST

MIAMI (Ticker) - The Toronto Raptors can't get All-Star Chris Bosh back into the starting lineup fast enough.

The Raptors, who face the struggling Miami Heat on Wednesday, are coming off a 102-87 loss at Orlando on Tuesday. The team fell to 0-2 without Bosh - out with a knee injury for at least another week.

Toronto, fifth in the Eastern Conference playoff race, has dropped three straight for only the second time this season.

In the first of four meetings this season on February 4 in Miami, Bosh and Andrea Bargnani combined for 46 points as the Raptors rolled to a 114-82 victory.

The Heat are currently 35 games under .500, but have won two of their last four. Dwyane Wade continues to be one of the few bright spots for Miami, averaging 24.5 points, 6.9 assists and 4.2 rebounds.

The Heat went 1-2 on a trip out west with a 120-109 loss at Sacramento.
