James, Cavaliers aim to bounce back vs. Bobcats

Mar 16, 2008 - 1:19 PM Charlotte (24-41) at Cleveland (37-29) 6:00 pm EDT

CLEVELAND (Ticker) - Superstar LeBron James hopes to get the Cleveland Cavaliers back on track when they face the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday.

James poured in 25 points last time out but if wasn't enough in a 101-99 loss to the Washington Wizards on Thursday. James missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

"I missed shots. I'm human. I can miss shots," James said. "We still had a chance to win. That's all I can ask of my team and my teammates. We turned the ball over once again. I turned the ball over too many times."

It was Cleveland's third setback in its last five games.

Cavs guard Sasha Pavlovic aims to build off his last outing, scoring 24 points in 29 minutes. Pavlovic was playing in his second game of the season after missing 22 contests due to a sprained left foot.

In the last matchup, James fell just two assists short from registering a triple-double in Cleveland's 113-106 overtime win in Charlotte on January 11.

Since capturing a franchise-best five straight games, Charlotte has loss consecutive games, including an 89-80 setback to the red-hot Houston Rockets on Friday.

The Bobcats hopes of taking the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference are getting tougher with each loss as they are 3 1/2 games behind the New Jersey Nets (28-38).
