Raptors seek first win in Sacramento in 11 years

Mar 16, 2008 - 1:34 PM Toronto (34-31) at Sacramento (29-36) 9:00 pm EDT

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) - The struggling Toronto Raptors head into their house of horrors Sunday when the visit the Sacramento Kings.

Toronto has lost nine straight meetings in Sacramento since a 103-96 triumph on March 13, 1997.

If that is to change, the Raptors need to improve their defensive effort. They are allowing 123.7 points per game in losing the first three games of a five-game road trip.

Chris Bosh scored 31 points in a 116-91 win over the Kings in Toronto on January 16.

However, the Raptors will have to go for their first season sweep of Sacramento without him as the All-Star forward is expected to miss his ninth straight game with a sore knee.

The Kings have lost eight of their last 11 games, including a 127-99 thumping at the hands of the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.
