Playoff-bound Magic, Cavaliers meet for third time
Mar 17, 2008 - 1:00 PM Cleveland (38-29) at Orlando (44-24) 7:00 pm EDTORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) - The Orlando Magic have already clinched a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference. It's just a matter of time before the Cleveland Cavaliers do the same.
The Magic, who are on the brink of clinching the Southeast Division title, bring a four-game into Monday's contest against the Cavaliers.
Orlando holds a 9 1/2-game lead over Washington in the division with 14 contests remaining.
During their winning streak, the Magic have been winning by an average of 13.3 points. They are coming off a 122-111 home triumph over Indiana on Saturday.
Fourth in the East, the Cavs are coming off Sunday's 98-91 home win over Charlotte. LeBron James scored 33 points to help Cleveland avoid losing its third straight game.
Cleveland, which is 16-19 on the road, has lost three straight away from home.
