Kings hope to end road struggles vs. Grizzlies

Mar 22, 2008 - 1:47 PM Sacramento (31-37) at Memphis (17-51) 8:00 pm EDT

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) - The Sacramento Kings continue a three-game road trip on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Sacramento had won four of its previous five games before suffering a 102-89 setback to the San Antonio Spurs during the opening game of the road swing on Friday.

The loss was the Kings second consecutive on the road and seventh in their last eight games away from home. Sacramento is a dismal 10-25 away from Arco Arena this season, the sixth worst mark in the Western Conference.

The Grizzlies, who own a lowly 5-29 record away from home, snapped an 18-game road losing streak with a 120-106 triumph over the New York Knicks on Friday.

Mike Miller scored a season-high 34 points to lead Memphis to just its fourth victory in the last 24 games.

Memphis attempts to win back-to-back games on Saturday for the first time since forging victories against the Washington Wizards and New Jersey Nets on November 24 and 27.
