James, Cavaliers attempt to solve road woes, Bucks

Mar 22, 2008 - 2:26 PM Cleveland (40-30) at Milwaukee (23-44) 8:30 pm EDT

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) - After surpassing Brad Daugherty for first place on the franchise's all-time scoring list, LeBron James can concentrate on figuring out how to help his team beat the Milwaukee Bucks.

James and the Cavaliers hope to earn a split in the season series with the Bucks when the teams meet at the Bradley Center on Saturday.

It took James - who needed only five points to eclipse the record - just 380 games to surpass Daugherty's 10,389 points (548 games) in Cavaliers' lore when he scored 29 points in a 90-83 Cleveland victory on Friday.

With that piece of history reached, James will attempt to fix his team's road woes - the Cavaliers have lost four straight contests away from home - and solve the riddle of the Bucks, who have taken two of three games from Cleveland this season.

Cleveland may be catching Milwaukee at the right time to snap both stretches as the Bucks have dropped a season-worst six straight games.

Milwaukee has not played since Tuesday's 112-106 home loss against league-worst Miami, an effort that wasted 27 points from Michael Redd and 26 from backcourt mate Mo Williams.

In a bit of good news, the Bucks expect to have center Andrew Bogut back in the lineup after his two-game absence due to a deep thigh bruise. In the 18 games he has missed due to injury over his career, the team is 3-15.
