Jazz aim for season sweep of Sonics

Mar 22, 2008 - 2:28 PM Seattle (16-53) at Utah (45-25) 9:00 pm EDT

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) - The Utah Jazz try to start another home winning streak when the Seattle SuperSonics come calling on Saturday.

Despite getting 46 combined points from All-Star Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams, the Jazz had their 19-game home winning streak ended with Thursday's 106-95 setback to the Los Angeles Lakers.

"We were rolling at that point. We came back, made a little bit of a run, and then Kobe (Bryant) started hitting some tough shots," Boozer said.

Utah also enters seeking a season-series sweep of the Sonics, who have dropped all four meetings.

The 6-9 Boozer has been unstoppable in the series, averaging 20.2 points and 10.9 rebounds through 16 career games against Seattle.

The young and inexperienced SuperSonics continued their growing pains Friday, losing their 10th consecutive game with a 130-105 loss to the Lakers.

Seattle's No.2 overall selection Kevin Durant is posting averages of just 15.0 points and 3.7 boards over the three losses in the series.
