Nuggets continue playoff chase against Grizzlies

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) - The Denver Nuggets are within striking distance of the Western Conference playoffs. The Memphis Grizzlies have been looking ahead to the NBA draft lottery.

Continuing their playoff push, the Nuggets visit the Grizzlies on Monday.

The Nuggets are ninth in the competitive West, but just 1 1/2 games behind the Golden State Warriors for the final playoff spot.

Denver, which is 2-2 on its five-game road trip that concludes with this contest, is coming off Sunday's 109-100 win against the Toronto Raptors. Allen Iverson led the way with 36 points.

The Grizzlies, who are playing out the string, are seeking their first three-game winning streak of the season.

"We're playing well offensively, making shots and shooting a high percentage," Grizzlies reserve guard Kyle Lowry said. "Everything is quick. We're moving the ball and looking good out there."
