Jazz seeks revenge against Timberwolves

Apr 2, 2008 - 2:24 PM Minnesota (19-54) at Utah (49-26) 9:00 pm EDT

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) - Two games ago, the Utah Jazz came out on the short end of things against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now its time for pay back.

Utah will try to improve on its league-leading 33 home wins on Wednesday when the Timberwolves come calling.

On Sunday at the Target Center, Carlos Boozer had 27 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort as the Jazz fell 110-103 to Minnesota, snapping a three-game winning streak.

But Utah bounced back from the loss on Monday as C.J. Miles poured in a career-high 29 points in a 129-87 blowout of the Washington Wizards.

"I never want to come out of the game," said Miles, who has started the last three outings in place of Andrei Kirilenko (calf). "I don't think anybody does, especially when you're making shots."

Minnesota is coming off one of its most disappointing losses of the season, falling 94-90 to the Detroit Pistons, who were without starters Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace.

Al Jefferson scored 26 points and Randy Foye chipped in 18 in the Tuesday's loss for the Timberwolves, who owns the worst road record in the NBA at just 5-30.
