Struggling Knicks host Cavaliers
Nov 13, 2006 - 3:22 PM Cleveland (4-2) at New York (2-5) 7:30 pm ESTNEW YORK (Ticker) -- Even though the NBA season is only two weeks old, it has already been a long one for the New York Knicks.
The Knicks look to avoid their third straight loss when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.
New York, which is 0-2 at home this season, suffered its second straight loss in a 100-92 setback to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday. Quentin Richardson led the Knicks with 21 points and 11 while Jamal Crawford finished with 18 points and five assists.
The Cavaliers are coming off a tremendous 94-93 comeback victory over the Boston Celtics on Saturday.
Cleveland trailed by 25 points in the third period and by 19 in the fourth quarter but came back to win.
LeBron James led the Cavaliers with 38 points and also added eight rebounds and five steals.
