Pacers cling to fading playoff hopes
Apr 6, 2008 - 2:05 PM Milwaukee (26-49) at Indiana (32-44) 6:00 pm EDTINDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) - Trying to stay in the Eastern Conference playoff race, the Indiana Pacers face the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
With six games remaining, the Pacers trail the Atlanta Hawks by 3 1/2 games for the final postseason spot.
In the first of a home-and-home series, Indiana edged Milwaukee, 105-101 on Friday for its third win in four games. Mike Dunleavy Jr. scored 12 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter and grabbed 11 rebounds to pace Indiana.
Dunleavy, who has averaged 28.3 points in three games against Milwaukee this season, will tray to help Indiana corral its seventh consecutive win over the Bucks at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Bucks, whose last win here came on December 7, 2004, have allowed six straight opponents to score 100-plus points against them and 45 overall for the 2007-08 season.
