Pistons after another home win vs. Knicks
Apr 8, 2008 - 1:30 PM New York (21-56) at Detroit (55-21) 8:00 pm EDTAUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) - The Detroit Pistons try to run their winning streak to six games and continue their recent home dominance of the New York Knicks when the teams meet on Tuesday.
Even with the Pistons resting their regulars, they locked up the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs on Sunday when they beat the dreadful Miami Heat, 91-75.
Expect many familiar faces to be on the Pistons bench against the Knicks, who have not won at the Palace of Auburn Hills since March 27, 2002.
New York snapped its five-game slide in Sunday's 100-90 victory over the Orlando Magic.
Rookie Wilson Chandler scored a season-high 23 points for the Knicks, who have dropped seven consecutive road games.
