Bosh, Raptors fight for playoff positioning, face Pistons
Apr 13, 2008 - 12:55 PM Toronto (40-39) at Detroit (56-23) 1:00 pm EDTAUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- In a possible preview of a first-round playoff matchup, the Toronto Raptors visit the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.
While the Pistons already have locked up the Eastern Conference's second seed, the Raptors currently reside in sixth, one-half game in front of Philadelphia (40-40). Should the Raptors fall to seventh, they would meet the Pistons in the opening round of the postseason.
Toronto would like to avoid Detroit since it has lost two of the three meetings this season and nine straight here.
The Raptors are coming off Friday's 113-85 thrashing of New Jersey. Detroit also is off a lopsided win, a 102-74 destruction of Washington here on Friday.
