Cavs look to move closer to clinching fourth place
Apr 13, 2008 - 1:56 PM Miami (14-65) at Cleveland (43-36) 6:00 pm EDTCLEVELAND (Ticker) - Trying to shake their inconsistency, the Cleveland Cavaliers host the lowly Miami Heat on Sunday.
Cleveland, which is just 1 1/2 games in front of Washington for fourth place and home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs, has lost three of its last four games.
However, the Cavaliers have had little trouble with the woeful Heat and are looking to sweep the season series for the first time since taking both games in Miami's inaugural season in 1988-89.
The Heat failed in their bid to win back-to-back games for a second time this season after dropping a 96-91 decision to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.
Miami, which will finish the season with the league's worst record, needs to win two of its remaining three games to avoid finishing with the worst record in the franchise's history.
