Pistons visit Cavs in regular-season finale
Apr 16, 2008 - 1:39 PM Detroit (58-23) at Cleveland (45-36) 7:00 pm EDTCLEVELAND (Ticker) - The Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers have one last regular-season game before the playoffs start this weekend.
The Pistons will be the second seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs and face the Philadelphia 76ers (40-41) in the first round. Detroit and the Sixers split four meetings this season.
Devin Brown hit two free throws with two-tenths of a second left to help the Cavaliers clinch the fourth seed in the East with Monday's controversial 91-90 victory over the Sixers.
LeBron James scored 27 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 22 for Cleveland, which will have home-court advantage in its first round series against the Washington Wizards (43-38).
In the last matchup here, James and Ilgauskas combined to score 50 points in Cleveland's 89-73 blowout victory on over Detroit on March 19. Rasheed Wallace led the Pistons with 16 points.
