Raptors close regualar season in Chicago

Apr 16, 2008 - 1:42 PM Toronto (41-40) at Chicago (32-49) 8:30 pm EDT

CHICAGO (Ticker) - The playoff-bound Toronto Raptors conclude their regular season on Wednesday when they visit the Chicago Bulls.

Toronto won for the third time in four games and clinched the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference on Monday with a 91-75 victory over Miami. The Raptors will face the Orlando Magic in the first round of the playoffs.

"It's going to be a lot of fun," Raptors forward Chris Bosh said about playing Orlando. "Dwight (Howard) is a good friend of mine, but he is one of the best competitors (we) have in this league."

Rasho Nesterovic - who has scored in double figures in 17 straight games - scored 20 points in the win for the Raptors, who will be trying to sweep the season series from Chicago for the first time since 2001-02.

Meanwhile, the Bulls will finish with their worst record since 2003-04 the last time the team.

However, Chicago has won two of its last three, including Monday's wild 151-135 victory over Milwaukee. Luol Deng and Ben Gordon - both restricted free agents at season's end - scored 32 and 29 points, respectively in the victory.

Along with the uncertain future of Deng and Gordon, it is widely believed the Bulls' interim coach, Jim Boylan, may be on his way out as well.
