Anthony, Nuggets look to end road trip 4-0

Nov 15, 2006 - 2:58 PM Denver (3-3) at Orlando (5-3) 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- The surging Denver Nuggets are looking to finish their East Coast road swing just liked they started it, with a win.

Red-hot Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets will try and conclude their four-game road trip with an unblemished record on Wednesday against the Orlando Magic.

Anthony scored 33 points and Andre Miller recorded a season-high 29, 10 assists and eight rebounds in Tuesday's 112-105 triumph over the defending champion Miami Heat.

During Denver's current three-game winning streak, Anthony has scored at least 30 points in each win. The third-year forward ranks fourth in scoring in the NBA with a 29.4 average.

Jameer Nelson had season highs of 24 points and seven assists and rising star Dwight Howard contributed 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Magic in a 92-89 win at Boston on Monday. Orlando has won four of its last five contests.

Grant Hill scored 18 points in his return to the court on Monday after missing one game as part of the Magic's plan to rest the injury-riddled forward. He has had a history of injuries since coming from Detroit in a sign-and-trade back in 2000.

Denver and Orlando split their two-game season series a year ago with each protecting home-court advantage. However, the Magic have won a whopping 13 straight games here against the Nuggets.
