SEATTLE (Ticker) - The Philadelphia 76ers have wasted one of their best starts in recent years. The Seattle SuperSonics are headed in the other direction.

The 76ers will look to snap a three-game losing streak when they take on the streaking SuperSonics on the road Wednesday.

After winning their first three contests with a red-hot Allen Iverson, Philadelphia is in the midst of a three-game skid. Iverson was held in check on Friday as the Sixers could not get on track.

Iverson was limited to 6-of-20 shooting in a 108-101 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Friday. The four-time scoring champion, who was held to 12 points on 3-of-15 shooting by a combination of defenders until coming on late, when the Sixers rallied.

Philadelphia trailed by 13 points midway through the fourth quarter, but came back and had a chance to tie the game in the final minute.

Luke Ridnour scored a career-high 32 points as Seattle raced to a big lead en route to a 119-113 victory over the New Jersey Nets in its last game.

Rashard Lewis added 27 points and Chris Wilcox and Ray Allen had 22 apiece for the Sonics, who won the final three games of their road trip after opening with losses to Miami and Orlando.

The teams split the two meetings last season, but Iverson missed the matchup in Seattle. With its leading scorer in the lineup, Philadelphia has won its last four trips to KeyArena.
