Howard, Magic look for fourth straight win

Nov 18, 2006 - 3:25 PM Charlotte (2-6) at Orlando (6-3) 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic are moving full stream ahead right under the radar and that's that way they like it.

Orlando has won three consecutive games and has a good chance of improving on that streak when the lowly Charlotte Bobcats pay a visit on Saturday.

Keyon Dooling scored a career-high 25 points off the bench and Hedo Turkoglu added 18 as the Magic put an end to the Denver Nuggets' three-game winning streak with a 108-99 victory in Wednesday.

Orlando has won five of its last six matchups overall and is off to its most impressive start through 10 games since 1998-99 when the club opened 8-2.

Rookie Adam Morrison scored a season-best 27 points and Emeka Okafor added 19, nine rebounds and five blocks for Charlotte, which snapped its four-game slide in Wednesday's 95-92 overtime triumph at San Antonio.

The third overall selection in June, Morrison has found his stroke in his last two games. He is averaging 24 points in that stretch while making 21-of-41 shots, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range. The 6-8 swingman had scored just 11 points total in his previous two games prior to the recent outburst.

The Magic and the Bobcats have split eight lifetime meetings, but Orlando has posted a 3-1 record here. Dwight Howard is averaging 19 points and 17 rebounds in four career games in the series.
