Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics

In the first three games of the series, it was Robert Williams vs. Brook Lopez, with Lopez taking two of them. Willams missed Game 4 with a knee injury, and it was Al Horford taking the opening tip. Lopez came away with his third tip-off win of the series.

The Celtics scored first in 64% of their games this season which led the league, while the Bucks scored on just 52%. The Celtics also have scored the first basketball in six of the eight head-to-head matchups this year.

In the eight games these teams played this season, Jaylen Brown scored the first basket in three of them, including in Game 1.

Brown has scored the first Celtics field goal in seven of the last 14 games and is one of the best, scoring the first basket in 37% of Celtics games this year.

Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies

In the previous game, it was Jonathan Kuminga vs. Steven Adams in the opening tip-off with Adams getting the win and the first basket.

The Warriors are one of the best first scoring teams in the league as they hit the first bucket in 60% of their games. Kevin Looney is their leader in hitting the first bucket at 30%

The Grizzlies were also one of the best first scorers in the league this year, including scoring first in over 60% of their games in February. It looks like Ja Morant’s season is over for Memphis so they will need another playmaker.

Desmond Bane has been the guy to take the ball up and run the offense. He hasn’t elected to take the first shot and instead has passed it off. Jaren Jackson has been the guy to look for on the perimeter and should be the guy to set the tone.
