Herro averages 3.8apg for the season and has covered in 74% of the games he played. He’s 14 of L20 and 3 of L3 against Boston. The main thing is Kyle Lowry’s absence. In games without Lowry, Herro has hit at least 3 assists in 19 of 22 games and has only one miss with more than 22 minutes played. In Game 1, Herro played 27 mins and had 3 assists and all of them came in his first few minutes on the court. But the lack of assists after that had nothing to do with his playmaking. It was because of missed shots by his teammates and Jimmy Butler going solo in the second half. He led the team in passes and had 10 potential assists. A lot of them were missed wide-open 3’s. Herro will be big for Miami tonight, and I believe he will easily cover if not for some surprising Lowry news.
