Boston’s Robert Williams missed Game 3 due to knee soreness, and Al Horford stepped in as he has throughout the playoffs for the opening tip. Even if Williams plays, they’ll likely keep Horford to start this game. In the opening tip-off, he will go against Miami’s Bam Adebayo, a heavy favorite to help Miami gain the initial possession. Adebayo has won 11-of-20 jump balls in the playoffs, but Horford won their tip-off matchup.

The Heat have done well by grabbing the first basket in 49% of their games, but the Celtics are the best in the league this season at 64%.

Although the Celtics gained the initial possession in Game 3, the Jason Tatum missed jump shot set the tone for him and Boston in that awful first quarter, allowing Max Strus to make the first points of the game.

Jaylen Brown is the player that handles most of the first field goals as he leads the team with 30% of first field attempts and 37% of first made field goals, including three in the playoffs.
