Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat Force Game 7 vs. Celtics (2022 NBA Playoffs)
May 28, 2022 - 4:14 AMFacing elimination on Friday night, Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat instead ground out a win to extend the series to a defining Game 7 at home in Miami on Sunday. Butler certainly did his part, scoring a game-high 47 points to lead all scorers. He was 16-for-29 from the field and hit all 11 of his free throws.
No one else on the Heat had more than 18 points.
For the Celtics in Game 6, Jayson Tatum scored 30 points on 9-for-12 shooting, while Jaylen Brown (6-for-13, 20 points) and Derrick White (7-for-14, 22 points) reached topped 20 points, as well. Now, Boston will have to travel to Miami to attempt to close out the series and line themselves up to face off against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
The Celtics open up at -2.5 (-110) on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 7 despite having to travel to Miami. The Over/Under opens at 198 points, while the moneyline is -140 (Celtics), +120 Heat.
