Top NBA Summer League Betting Odds & Pick for Lakers vs. Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are currently 0-4 in the Summer League. They haven’t played extremely bad but just haven’t been able to close out games.

The Mavericks took an 11-point loss against the Bucks in their last game but still scored 89 points. Oddly enough, the bench helped the Mavericks get within striking distance while the starting lineup struggled to do much of anything. Moses Wright came off the bench and scored 26 points while adding 11 rebounds. Maybe he should be starting.

On the other hand, the Lakers are coming off a solid win last night over the Pelicans, 102-94. Los Angeles has been cutting down on playing time for most of their players and allowing everyone to get a fair share of time on the court. But that’s kept guys fresh and ready to go.

I’ll take the Lakers if they continue with that approach.
