Nets try to earn season split against Sonics

Carter had 18 points and Nenad Krstic added 13 for New Jersey, which is beginning a four-game west-coast road trip.
The Sonics' victory over the Nets was their last. Seattle has dropped three straight games since, the latest a 107-95 setback against Golden State on Saturday.
Ray Allen collected 34 points and 11 boards and Lewis added 17 and seven for Seattle, which has won two straight here over New Jersey.
