Celtics look for fourth consecutive win against Bobcats

The Celtics won their third consecutive game with a 122-118 victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday.
Paul Pierce scored a season-high 39 points, making 10-of-23 shots from the floor and 18-of-22 from the line. Ryan Gomes notched a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds.
Charlotte dropped its second straight game Monday, a 93-85 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, despite 22 points and 13 rebounds from Emeka Okafor. The Bobcats have lost six of their last seven contests.
Charlotte shot 45 percent (33-for-72) from the field but was just 1-of-11 from the arc.
