Allen, SuperSonics seek second straight win

Nov 22, 2006 - 2:21 PM Seattle (5-7) at LA Clippers (6-3) 10:30 pm EST

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) - The Seattle SuperSonics hope this trip to "Tinsel Town" will go as well as the last time they were here.

Sharpshooter Ray Allen and the SuperSonics go for their second straight triumph as pay a visit to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.

On Monday, Allen recorded 29 points and nine rebounds and Rashard Lewis scored 20 points as Seattle ended its three-game losing streak with a 99-87 victory over the New Jersey Nets.

The SuperSonics will be seeking their second winning streak this season. They captured three straight games earlier this month.

Seattle finished just 1-3 in the season series last year, but its lone victory came here on April 16 as Allen scored 21 points.

Elton Brand collected 20 and 15 rebounds and reserve Corey Maggette also scored 20 points but the Clippers dropped an 105-101 decision against the rival Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.

The Clippers have won six straight games at home this season, keeping opponents under 100 points five times during the streak.
