Magic seek sixth straight win at home

Nov 25, 2006 - 2:34 PM Atlanta (5-5) at Orlando (9-4) 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic seek their sixth straight home victory when they face the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.

The Magic won for the sixth time in their last seven games Friday with a 107-104 victory over Miami. Orlando is in first place in the Southeast Division, 2 1/2 games ahead of Atlanta.

Grant Hill scored 24 points and Dwight Howard had 23 points and 12 rebounds for his fourth straight double-double.

However, Howard was held to just 11 points and eight rebounds in Orlando's 95-82 loss on November 5 to the Hawks. Orlando was held to a season low in points and shot a season-worst 41.9 percent.

Atlanta posted a 97-93 win over Toronto on Friday, ending a four-game losing streak. Joe Johnson scored 27 points on 11-of-21 shooting and Zaza Pachulia added 17 and seven rebounds for the Hawks, who moved back to the .500 mark.

Johnson, who has led the Hawks in scoring each game, had 31 points on 11-of-19 shooting in a win earlier in the season against Orlando.

Orlando has won four straight and 12 of its last 13 at home against the Hawks.
