MIAMI (Ticker) -- Dwyane Wade scored 25 points and rookie Michael Beasley added 19 in his first NBA start to lead the Miami Heat past the Memphis Grizzlies, 102-85, in preseason action Tuesday.

Udonis Haslem chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds while Shawn Marion also scored in double figures with 12 for the Heat, who finally picked up their first preseason win in five tries.

Memphis was led by rookie guard O.J. Mayo, who scored 28 points - the most by any Grizzlies player this preseason - on 12-of-22 shooting. Through seven preseason games, Mayo is averaging 16.1 points.

Wade connected on 9-of-19 from the floor, including a baseline reverse dunk in the first quarter that brought the crowd to its feet. He also had six assists and five rebounds in 35 minutes. Wade now has three 20-point games in the preseason.

Miami used a 13-2 run in the fourth quarter to pull away from Memphis. Beasley scored nine points during the run, showing off his range with three long jumpers as the Heat took control. The 6-10, 235-pound rookie had come off the bench in the Heat's previous four games but started at forward on Tuesday alongside Marion.

Haslem moved to center while Mark Blount, the starter at the position earlier in the preseason, came off the bench.

Marion chipped in with 12 points, eight boards, five assists and three blocks for Miami, which reached the 100-point mark for the first time this preseason.

The Grizzlies played without their top player, Rudy Gay, who was held out due to a staph infection. They have now dropped three in a row, surrendering an average of 105.0 points.
