Pacers begin long road trip against lowly Raptors

TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Indiana Pacers aim to improve on their recent success as they face the struggling Raptors in Toronto.

In its last game, Indiana fell behind by 16 points in the first half, before rallying to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 97-87. Jermaine O'Neal scored a season-high 29 points for the Pacers, who have won three of their last four contests.

Jamaal Tinsley scored 19 points and handed out six assists and Sarunas Jasikevicius added 15 points off the bench for Indiana, which begins a stretch of six straight road games, its longest road trip of the season.

The Raptors are coming off a 97-93 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. T.J. Ford scored 25 points and added eight rebounds and 12 assists for Toronto, which has lost seven of its last eight games.

Jorge Garbajosa added 15 points and 12 rebounds, but star forward Chris Bosh scored just 11, his lowest point total of the season.

Toronto misses swingman Morris Peterson, whose streak of 371 straight games ended on Wednesday. The seventh-year veteran has missed two straight games and his status for Sunday's contest is uncertain.

Indiana has won two straight vs. Toronto, but has lost four of its last road games.
