Magic host Kings looking for first win

Nov 1, 2008 - 10:23 AM Sacramento (0-2) at Orlando (0-2), 7:00 p.m. EDT

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- A pair of teams still looking for their first win clash on Saturday when the Orlando Magic host the Sacramento Kings.

Orlando's slow start is a bit surprising after it advanced to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in 12 years last season.

The Magic's woes could be attributed to their offense, which has totaled 85 and 84 points, respectively, over the first two games. Orlando is coming off an 86-84 setback at Memphis on Friday as Rudy Gay made a baseline jumper at the buzzer.

Dwight Howard has posted double-doubles in his first two games, averaging 18.0 points, 14.5 rebounds and 4.0 blocks.

Sacramento is trying to avoid an 0-3 start for the second straight year and was blown out, 103-77, at Miami on Friday.

Last season's leading scorer Kevin Martin has gotten off to a slow start for the Kings. The guard shot 2-of-8 on Friday and is 7-of-27 (26 percent) from the floor.

John Salmons has picked up the slack, averaging 19.0 points, while second-year center Spencer Hawes is averaging 10.5 and 12.5 rebounds.
