Raptors eye third straight win

Nov 1, 2008 - 10:43 AM Toronto (2-0) at Milwaukee (1-1), 8:30 p.m. EDT

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- With most of the preseason attention in the Eastern Conference going to other teams, the Toronto Raptors have gotten off to a solid start.

The Raptors look to remain perfect on the young season when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.

Toronto won at Philadelphia on Wednesday and outlasted the Golden State Warriors, 112-108, in the league's first overtime game of the season on Friday.

The 76ers added Elton Brand in the offseason and are expected to join the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers in the chase to dethrone the Boston Celtics.

Meanwhile, Toronto, which has made the playoffs for two straight seasons, continues to go about its business.

Chris Bosh had 31 points in Friday's win and Jose Calderon added 16 and 13 assists for the Raptors, who have not started 3-0 since 2004-05.

The Bucks bounced back from a season-opening loss to Chicago with a 98-87 victory at Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Olympic gold medalist Michael Redd is averaging 25.0 points over the first two games for Milwaukee.
