After first win, Thunder face Celtics

Nov 5, 2008 - 2:10 PM Boston (3-1) at Oklahoma City (1-2) 8:00 p.m. EST

OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- The Oklahoma City Thunder has officially arrived.

After earning the first win in their new location, the Thunder try to make it two in a row on Wednesday when they host the world champion Boston Celtics.

Oklahoma City - a team that relocated from Seattle during the offseason - struggled out of the gate, enduring double-digit decisions to the Milwaukee Bucks and Houston Rockets.

The Thunder bounced back with a 88-85 triumph over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday to claim their first victory.

"It feels good," said 2007-08 Rookie of the Year Kevin Durant, who had 18 points against the Timberwolves. "Last year, it took us 10 to 12 games to get our first win, but to get in front of a great crowd like this, it's a good thing for us, and we just have to build on it."

The Celtics bounced back from a season-low 79 points in a loss to the Indiana Pacers with a 103-99 victory over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday.
