Jazz hope to remain unbeaten at home vs. Magic

Nov 27, 2006 - 3:12 PM Orlando (10-4) at Utah (12-2) 9:00 pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- The Utah Jazz look to start a new winning streak against one of the NBA's hottest teams.

After dropping just their second game of the season on Saturday, the Jazz host the red-hot Orlando Magic on Monday.

One of the most surprising teams in the league, Utah has won all seven contests at home this season. However, on Saturday, they picked up their second road loss, snapping their eight-game winning streak overall.

Matt Harpring scored 15 points and Deron Williams added 14 and eight assists for Utah, which committed 22 turnovers and shot just 33 percent (27-of-83) in a 91-78 loss to Golden State.

The Magic continued their winning ways at home on Saturday. Hedo Turkoglu triggered a quick start and the Magic opened a 28-point first-half lead before settling for a 98-79 victory over the sloppy and slumping Atlanta Hawks.

Carlos Arroyo scored 15 points for Orlando, which never trailed, shot 45.5 percent (35-of-77) from the field and received 36 points from their bench as they improved to 7-1 at TD Waterhouse Centre. Orlando has won seven of eight overall.

The Jazz and Magic split their two games last season with the home team winning both contests.
