High-scoring Suns visit Bulls

Nov 7, 2008 - 11:23 AM Phoenix (4-1) at Chicago (2-3), 8:30 p.m. EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Suns look to win their fourth straight game when they visit the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

Under former coach Mike D'Antoni, Phoenix utilized a fast-paced style of offense that became the identity of the team and helped point guard Steve Nash win back-to-back league MVP awards.

D'Antoni is with the New York Knicks but the Suns have not changed their attack as they currently lead the league in scoring at 106.4 points per contest.

Amare Stoudemire scored 49 points on 17-of-21 shooting in the Suns' 113-103 victory at the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. Phoenix has won all three of its road games.

Chicago, which is coming off back-to-back road setbacks, lost at the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, 107-93.

The top overall pick of June's draft, Derrick Rose has not disappointed for the Bulls. The rookie guard had 20 points and seven assists in Wednesday's loss and is averaging 17.8 points and 4.2 assists.

Phoenix has won seven of the last eight meetings between the teams, including four straight in Chicago.
