Off career day, Harris and Nets take on Pacers

Nov 8, 2008 - 11:23 AM New Jersey (2-2) at Indiana (1-3) 7:00 p.m. EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Allen Iverson's debut with Detroit Pistons turned into the coming-out party in New Jersey for Devin Harris.

He will look to follow up his career-high 38-point performance when the Nets take on the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.

In his fourth season out of Wisconsin, this season marks the first full campaign with New Jersey for Harris after being traded from Dallas last season.

Harris scored 19 of his squad's 33 third-quarter points and added a number of key buckets down the stretch as the Nets held on for the victory, 103-96, on Friday.

The Pacers have struggled on the defensive end, allowing 100 points or more in all three losses, most recently in a 111-107 loss to Cleveland.

Indiana was torched for 40 fourth-quarter points by the Cavaliers on Friday as it blew a seven-point lead in the final period.

Danny Granger has been impressive despite Indiana's tough start. The forward is averaging 27.3 points a game while knocking down 52 percent (37-71) from the field.

The teams will meet again Wednesday in New Jersey.
