Celtics look to keep rolling against Raptors

Nov 10, 2008 - 5:50 AM Toronto (4-2) at Boston (6-1), 7:30 pm EST

BOSTON (Ticker) -- After defeating one Eastern Conference contender, the Boston Celtics look to continue their winning streak against another when they host the Toronto Raptors on Monday.

Boston won its fourth straight game with an 88-76 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday and will be playing its fifth contest in the last seven days. The Celtics held the Pistons to 35 percent shooting in the win.

Boston, which had the league's second-best defense last season at 90.3 points allowed per game, has been stellar on the defensive end so far this season.

The Celtics have failed to yield 100 points in any of their contests and are surrendering just 86.7 for the season.

Toronto snapped a brief two-game losing streak with an 89-79 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday.

The Raptors have been led by Chris Bosh, who is off to a fast start. The All-Star forward had 30 points and 15 rebounds in Sunday's win and is averaging 26.7 and 11.0 so far this campaign.

Boston won three of the four meetings last season.
