Magic begin road test against Thunder
Nov 12, 2008 - 11:27 AM Orlando (4-3) at Oklahoma City (1-6) 8:00 p.m. ESTOKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- After an extended stay at home, the Orlando Magic are finally hitting the road.
The Magic open a three-game road trip against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
Orlando has played six of its first seven games at Amway Arena and, despite dropping a 106-99 decision to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, finished a five-game homestand with a 4-1 record.
The Magic play seven of their next 11 on the road. They return home for two contests on December 3 and 5 before departing for a season-high five-game swing.
The Thunder have struggled early in their inaugural season in Oklahoma City after arriving from Seattle. Reigning Rookie of the Year Kevin Durant scored a campaign-high 37 points on Monday, but it wasn't enough as the Thunder endured their second straight setback, 107-99, against the Indiana Pacers on Monday.
