Blazers go for fourth straight, take on Heat

Nov 12, 2008 - 11:26 AM Portland (4-3) at Miami (4-3) 8:00 p.m. EST

MIAMI (Ticker) -- After dropping their first three road contests, the Portland Trail Blazers figured out how to win away from home at just the right time.

Portland goes for its fourth straight win and second in a row on the road when it plays game two of a five-game road trip against the Miami Heat on Wednesday.

Brandon Roy scored 29 points as Portland topped the Orlando Magic, 106-99, on Monday.

LaMarcus Aldridge collected his second consecutive double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds as Portland moved a game over .500 for the first time this season.

If the Trail Blazers are to win their second straight on the road, they will have to hand the Heat their first home loss of the season.

Miami will look to improve to 4-0 at home after winning its third straight home contest over New Jersey, 99-94, thanks to 33 points from Dwyane Wade.

The Heat won the first two tilts by a combined 24.5 points, but they needed 19 of Wade's 33 points to overcome a nine-point fourth quarter deficit.
