Bucks, Spurs meet without top scorers

Nov 12, 2008 - 11:25 AM San Antonio (2-4) at Milwaukee (3-5) 8:00 p.m. EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Bucks are struggling without their top scorer. The same cannot be said of the San Antonio Spurs.

The Bucks try to end a three-game losing streak on Wednesday when they host the Spurs.

Michael Redd, who leads Milwaukee at 21.3 points per game, missed his fourth straight contest on Tuesday with a sprained right ankle suffered while diving for a loose ball in a 94-86 win against the New York Knicks on November 2.

Without Redd, the Bucks endured a 99-93 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers as LeBron James scored 24 of his 41 points in the second half.

Redd tried to practice on Tuesday, but the return was premature and he will likely be sidelined against San Antonio, which is coming off a 92-80 victory against the Knicks.

The victory came without the services of Tony Parker, who leads the team at 27.4 points per game but will be sidelined roughly four weeks after spraining his left ankle during Friday's 99-83 loss to the Miami Heat.

Tim Duncan filled the void left by Parker, scoring a team-high 23 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
