Bulls try to finish homestand with win over Pacers

Nov 15, 2008 - 11:21 AM Indiana (4-4) at Chicago (4-5) 8:30 p.m. EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls need to take advantage of their home court while they can.

The Bulls try to close their five-game homestand with a win when they host the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.

The Bulls are coming off a 98-91 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, improving to 4-2 at the United Center. Chicago will be gunning for another strong performance when it plays its final home game until December.

Following the game against the Pacers, the Bulls will set out on a season-long, seven-game road trip that starts with a meeting against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday and ends against the Philadelphia 76ers on November 30.

Chicago has played only three road games, losing two of those contests by double digits.

The Pacers are looking to bounce back from a dismal loss on Friday. After taking a 26-point lead in the first quarter, Indiana fell apart, suffering a 94-92 setback to the 76ers. The Pacers were outscored, 36-19, in the second quarter and never regained the momentum.
